Halloween at the Heard Museum

We spent an early halloween at the Heard Museum this past Saturday night. I first heard about the event from my friend Jennifer Stein and then heard several commercials on KLTY. The science teacher in me wanted to see the "dinosaurs alive" exhibit where you have the opportunity to see life-size animatronic dinosaurs move and roar. Along the trail, there were people handing out candy to the kiddos. I was a little surprised at Makenzie's lack of interest in the dinosaurs. Ashlyn paid more attention to them than her sister and didn't mind me taking pictures of her in front of them.....perhaps because she really has no clue what they are.
I think it is fair to say that we were all a little disappointed in the outing. It was a pretty pricey event for the little offered. Jennifer and I decided we would go back with the kids when they are older and enjoy the museum in a non-halloween related event. Here are some pics from the outing....
